Following the widespread and nationwide protests that started in Iran in the second half of 1401, and also considering the social and cultural developments and the current criticisms and protests in the society, a number of Afraz members wanted the association to play a greater role against these events. Due to its nationalist approach and align with the subject of cultural and social improvement contained in Article 9 of the association's constitution, the Afraz Cultural Association created a social workgroup in response to these concerns, so that the members who want to discuss this issue can exchange opinions and at the same time benefit from the opinions of related experts to increase their awareness of how the country is progressing and improving.
